New Product: IC-R6, The 100 Ch/Sec Wideband Signal "Search Machine"
Icom proudly announces the debut of the new handheld receiver, IC-R6. While retaining basic features of the very popular IC-R5, the IC-R6 has a new design and new features. Its features are further refined with a 100 ch/sec scanning speed, 1300 memory channels, 15 hours of continuous receive capability, voice squelch control (VSC) and optional drop-in charger stand. All this combined with Icom’s reputation of superior receiver performance at a reasonable price, the IC-R6 will continue to satisfy the needs of receiver enthusiasts.

- 100 channels per second high speed scan
- 15 hours of continuous receive capability with supplied rechargeable cells, 50mW audio output with external speaker (8Ω)
- 1300 regular channels with 22 memory banks, 50 scan edges and 200 auto memory write channels

- VSC (voice squelch control) function
- Earphone cord antenna for AM aviation as well as FM broadcasts
