Icom Responds to Devastating Haiti Earthquake
Icom group donated communication equipment units to disaster relief in Haiti, in an effort to assist the nation following the recent devastating earthquake and aftershocks.
Icom America donated over 150 units from the Marine, Aviation and Amateur Divisions to be distributed in devastated areas through Mentone Communications Education Association, an NPO private operating foundation with close ties to the Southern Baptist Relief Convention and the American Red Cross. Icom France also donated 20 units to the French Red Cross in order to support them in their relief activities in Haiti.
We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery in the devastated areas.
