Report of Ham Fair 2018 in Tokyo, and new product information download

Ham Fair 2018, the biggest ham festival in Japan, was held in the Tokyo Big Sight on August 25th and 26th. A total of about 39,000 people came to this event.

In the Icom booth, we mainly featured the IC-9700, a new tri-band all mode transceiver. A large crowd of people always gathered around the IC-9700s that were on display.

The IC-7610's firmware update and USB I/Q Package for HDSDR were released and are now available. Used in combination with the CW Skimmer and HDSDR software applications, you can decode Morse signals in the operating bands.

The RS-R30I/A are new iOS™/Android™ remote control apps for the IC-R30 communications receiver, and will be released this autumn (free download). These apps wirelessly control the IC-R30 from an iOS™/Android™ device using Bluetooth® technology.

In addition, we displayed a concept demonstration of the "AI Communication Box", which utilizes the latest AI and IoT technologies, and assists your radio operations using voice commands. Icom is the "First in Technology" company to keep developing the future of amateur radios.
