any time. The IC-F25SR is a license-free radio*, it is easy to use straight

Compact and lightweight body
With a short stubby antenna, the IC-F25SR easily fits into your shirt pocket. At 53(W)×195(H)×38(D) mm and just 300g, the compact and lightweight body is convenient for carrying all day.
Large capacity battery pack
The 2000mAh Li-Ion battery pack, BP-232N, provides up
to 26.5 hours* of operating time. And the rapid charger,
BC-160, charges the BP-232N in 3 hours.

Simple controls, easy to use
All functions of the radio can be operated with only three buttons, channel selector and volume knob. All these controls may be operated without removing the radio from your belt and the LED light on the top of the radio shows operating condition with 3 types of lighting colours. The perfect, simple to use business tool that requires no training to use.
MIL-STD rugged construction
One piece polycarbonate front panel, and aluminum diecast frame allows for durable, dependable construction. The IC-F25SR is tested to the U.S. MIL-STD 810 specification that can take harsh use and keep working.
Optional voice scrambler
The optional voice scrambler UT-109 or UT-110 provides secure conversation.
Built-in CTCSS/DTCS encoder and decoder
Without installing an optional logic board, the IC-F25SR has superior signaling capabilities for group communication or selective calling. 50 CTCSS tones and 84 DTCS tones are available.
Smart ring function
The “Smart-Ring” function checks whether the radio is in communication range with a ringer sound.
